Hi there!

I am Christina Feely, the face behind the camera! I am a follower of Christ, a wife, a mama, a farm girl, a lover of all things baby, and a passionate advocator for mamas in their journey of birthing their babies. I have been a photographer for almost 6 years, specializing in maternity, birth, and newborns since 2015.

Before I became a photographer, I was an elementary school teacher. I taught 4th and 5th grade for 5 years. After having my son in 2013, my photography business kind of just (happily!) accidentally happened. It started with taking photos of my own baby, then of my friends' babies, and then developed from there.

I am now a self-proclaimed "doulaographer" (totally made that word up!)-a maternity, birth, and newborn photographer who is also a doula. I recently began to feel a deep calling to do more in the birth community. At my daughter's birth, my second child, I had a doula present. Her birth is probably the most empowering experience of my life and I owe a lot of that experience to the support my doula offered me before and during the birth. That entire experience planted the seed for me to venture into birth photography. Now, every birth I attend as a photographer, no matter where the birth takes place, leaves me awe-inspired. I was recently at a  birth in which I ended up putting my camera down and taking on a support role for the mother. It was then that I realized that not only do I have a passion for photographing newborn babies and their entrance Earthside, but I also have a deep passion for supporting mamas as they birth those babies into this world and further supporting them as they transition into parenthood.

I am DONA trained and currently working on becoming DONA certified as a birth and postpartum doula and lactation counselor. I would love to talk with your more about your journey into motherhood!
